Safeway Store 4817, Silver Spring, Maryland
This project included a refreshed front façade with a new EIFS sign band, new store sign and logo, and painted storefront mullions to increase the curb appeal; as well as, new interior offices, deli, floral, and produce departments. Work required extensive under slab plumbing piping throughout, plus a new grease inceptor, exhaust hood, and production equipment in the deli. The store also received a new roof top HVAC unit and a new emergency generator. All of the renovated departments received new refrigerated display cases, shelving and product signage. The sales floor interior received all new floor and wall finishes, along with new décor and a complete upgrade to the men’s and women’s toilets.
